The Center for Public Management and Governance is a pilot project in cooperation with the University of Salzburg’s School of Management (SMBS), which started the MBA in Public Management and the compact course in public management eight years ago. With an international but continental European outlook the program attracted some of the brightest senior executives from government in Austria, Germany, Italy, and Switzerland, creating a transnational network of senior policy makers from these countries. The Center for Public Management and Governance (CPMG) aims to consolidate this network, further the debate on strategies of creating public value in a transforming world by serving as discussion platform for senior government officials, a networked policy think tank, and serve as a forum to continuously update and improve our academic programs.
